Vermont State 3D Topographic Map Carved in Wood

This map of course is near and dear to us! A real wood map of Vermont made right here in our woodshop. Showing off the Green Mountains and the Champlain Valley. The map is carved from maple with CNC precision, sanded and then finished with a clear topcoat. Treeline Terrains sources the maple locally through Gagnon Lumber, a family-owned Vermont sawmill practicing sustainable timberland management. The living nature of the wood gives every piece its own subtle variation in grain, a faithful, one-of-a-kind piece of art grounded in an actual place. The "water" is hand-poured using a blue metallic epoxy, set right into the carved terrain. This piece is available in two styles, a land only style, or with land and Lake Champlain. An ideal gift to preserve a memory; a family trip, a proposal, or simply a place someone loves.
